About the company:
The museum complex Raversade, located in the Belgian settlement of the same name in the province of Ostend, has been operating since 1988. The territory of the complex from 1902 to 1981 belonged to the Royal family of Belgium. Prince Charles lived here for a long time. The Raversade Museum Complex consists of three open-air museums and a natural park.
The Prince Charles Memorial consists of the former fishing house in which the prince lived the last years of his life, with the preserved interior and personal belongings of the tenant, and an exhibition hall. In the open-air Museum "Atlantic Wall" you can see the German defenses and military equipment of the First and Second World Wars, which remained here after the location of the German troops.
The most interesting museum is the reconstructed fishing village of the XIV century Valraverseide. Now on the site of destroyed during the Dutch revolution of the XVI-XVII centuries, the village restored several houses, using the data of archaeological excavations conducted in the XX century. In the houses you can see the interiors of the XV century - the heyday of the village.
