The first Sunday of October is Teacher’s Day!The first Sunday of October is Teacher’s Day! For each representative of this profession, this holiday is one of the most significant and solemn. In different schools it is celebrated on different days: where on Friday, and where on Monday. But traditional teachers are congratulated with flowers, sweets, kind words and good grades from students.

Teachers and doctors from time immemorial were the most knowledgeable and respected people. It is thanks to teachers that we get on our feet in our lives, find a place for ourselves, realize our abilities.

In many schools, this day is considered to be Teacher’s Day, and not a holiday of the whole school: teachers come dressed, receive congratulations, flowers, and have tea in the evening. Children do not feel this holiday as their own.

Even in very good schools, where there is a real friendship between adults and children, the teaching staff often forgets about the great educational opportunities of the holiday: the formation of love for their school, interest in the teaching profession. And on this day, it is desirable to give the initiative in holding the holiday to the children - the design of the school, the release of a special wall newspaper, the preparation of a concert, treats prepared independently.

Children and graduates of the school will be able to pay special attention to old teachers who have retired.
