The Brest Hockey Club complex is the Brest winter sports center, nicknamed the “Ice Palace” by the people – another chic sports complex in the city of Brest. The scale of sports buildings in Brest is simply amazing. "Ice Palace" is located in a picturesque green area near the river and is very popular with citizens.
The complex was built at the beginning of the XXI century and fully meets the requirements for modern artificial ice platforms for international competitions. Ice is used not only for hockey, but also for figure skating. And yet, the main purpose of the Ice Palace is the main training base of the professional team "Brest Hockey Club", the hockey team of the major league.
The size of the ice arena meets the standards of European hockey – 61 by 30 meters. The stands accommodate 2 thousand fans, and there are special places for disabled people. In addition to the main site, the palace has a gym, a choreography hall, 2 halls of general physical training, 9 locker rooms (4 team), saunas, medical and utility rooms. Spacious halls are used as exhibition halls, as well as venues for mass festive events.
