Winter Garden in the city of Brest

Belarus, Brest, Mickiewicz St. 28

Description:

The Winter Garden is a closed greenhouse, part of the research complex of the University of Brest.

The greenhouse was built in 2010 and became a unique structure that combines the pavilion hall, which presents more than 250 species of plants of the tropics, subtropics and deserts, and the lecture hall, which hosts conferences and lectures. The greenhouse is open for both individual visits and organized groups.

At the same time, the greenhouse became a major scientific center, hosting conferences and symposiums organized with the support of the Central Botanical Garden of Belarus and the Ministry of Science.

The main pride of the greenhouse are rubber-bearing ficus and rare araucaria multileaved, as well as unique ferns and palm trees.
