Brest Railway Museum
About the company:
The Brest Railway Museum is dedicated to the history of railway communication. Here under the open sky collected more than 50 exhibits – cars and locomotives.
The museum was founded in 2002 by the efforts of local railway enthusiast A.Priveten. A special place in the collection is occupied by pre-war locomotives of the "E" series, built in 1912-1940. The museum is rightfully proud of the Soviet equipment, which was used in the maintenance and repair of mobile trains - it presents steam cranes and pneumatic coal pumpers. Most of the equipment presented is fully functional and can be used.
The total length of the tracks on which the exhibits stand exceeds 1 kilometer. They present various types of cars, ranging from ordinary passenger cars of different periods and ending with staff cars, as well as a hydrocolumn and snow-plow locomotive.
