Gomel Airport

Gomel Airport is Gomel International Airport, which has a length of asphalt runway 2,570 meters and a width of 43 meters.
The airport has been operating since the mid-1950s. At that time, planes flew from here to Kiev and Minsk, as well as to remote regional centers of the region. In 1993, the airport received international status. Various services work here: service, sanitary, customs and border services. The airfield area is 294.7 hectares. On the territory of the station there is a hotel, cafeteria, dining room, delegation hall, as well as storage rooms.
The airport receives large aircraft up to 171 tons of weight: Il-76T, Tu-204, Tu-154 and Boeing-737-200. Now from Gomel airport flights are carried out by Gomelavia airline.
