Sightseeing tour of Grodno
Description:
Grodno was first mentioned in the chronicles under 1128 under the name Gorodin. The historical center is better preserved here than in other Belarusian cities. During the sightseeing tour we will visit one of the oldest churches in Belarus, as well as one of the largest and most beautiful Catholic churches in Eastern Europe. Grodno is the only city in Belarus where the residences of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania and the Kings of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth have been operating for centuries and have survived to this day. In the historical center, the planning structure of the medieval European city has been preserved. During the tour we will see the narrowest alley in the city, visit the oldest pharmacy in Belarus, visit one of the largest botanical gardens in Europe of the XVIII century.
The city of Grodno falls in love at first sight. Having visited this city once, I want to visit here again.
