The airport is capable of receiving airliners with a maximum weight of up to 200 tons. It can simultaneously serve up to 10 aircraft of such levels as IL-76, Airbus-320 and Boeing-737. 11 international civil aviation routes already pass through the flight zone of Grodno.

The airport has been international since 1993, so it has border, customs and sanitary control services. French-made radar is installed on the territory of the airport (similar radars are also installed in Ukraine and the Baltic states). There is no such equipment in Russia.
