Excursion to the complex "Stalin Line"

Description:

“The line of courage! Stalin's line!

In the fortified hearts we are presented

Honor, conscience and memory of the country

For the Motherland, who rose up, saved the Motherland

Soldiers of the Holy War.”

To the song, written on the poems of the poet Valery Chernyshevsky by the Belarusian composer Igor Luchenko, tours of the historical and cultural complex "Stalin Line" are held - one of the most grandiose fortification ensembles on the territory of Belarus. The Stalin Line is a system of fortified areas (URs) along the old western border of the USSR from the Karelian Isthmus to the shores of the Black Sea. The complex is located on the territory of a separate company district "C", which included 18 long-term firing points. The border was 4.5 km from these positions.

The Stalin Line complex is a military-historical open-air museum. The area of this museum is almost 26 hectares. It contains the most complete exposition of military equipment, tanks, small arms, artillery and aviation in Belarus. Each exhibit can be touched with your hands! And even guides here are dressed in the uniform of commanders and soldiers of the Red Army. Everyone has the opportunity to visit inside the bunker or trenches, hold small arms in their hands, feel themselves a true defender of the Fatherland. Here, on the real landscape, the true events of the war years are recreated in battle scenes.

The complex "Stalin Line" is perfect for family holidays. An artificial lake has been created on the complex, where you can make a boat trip, in the cafe you can try a real incense "soldier's porridge". Children and teenagers will be able to become “Voroshilov riflemen” in a pneumatic shooting range, and adults will experience the real weapons of the Great Patriotic War.
