Fountain at the Komarov Market

The fountain on the square, near the Komarovsky market, is located in the capital of Belarus, in Minsk. It is made in the form of a low composition with towering steps, with two bronze geese bathing in it, which are located on one of the steps. More than once this fountain was recognized as the best in the capital. The author of this fabulous sculptural composition is Vladimir Zhbanov. To make a prototype, Zhbanov bought a real goose on the market, which posed for him for a month and a half. After all the sculptural works were completed, Vladimir gave the goose to the local zoo, for permanent residence.
