The main tree of the country on October Square

The New Year in Minsk is an unforgettable experience of the night city drowning in the lights, bright colors and the Christmas spirit hovering in the air. And of course, the main Christmas tree of the country on October Square and a fabulous performance, which is held annually in the Palace of the Republic.

During the New Year holidays, all Minsk residents and guests of the capital choose to take a walk on October Square, where they install the largest Christmas tree. And although this tradition is a little more than ten years old, vacationers gather with companies and families to celebrate the new year in the decorated square.

New Year’s Eve is part of the program “Our Children”. More than two thousand children, numerous guests and tourists come from all over the country. The fairy-tale program, which takes place on the stage of the main hall of the Palace of the Republic, is attended by both children and adults. And even the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. And, of course, no one leaves without a gift!
