Monument to a lady with a dog at the Komarovsky market

Monument to the Lady with the Dog is installed in Belarus, in the Soviet district of Minsk. It is located on the square, near the Komarovsky market. Minsk Komarovsk market is the main food market of the city.

The author of this sculpture – Vladimir Zhbanov, for the image of the lady took Anna Sergeevna with her four-legged friend, from Chekhov’s work.

Next to this monument, there is a bronze monument to the photographer (a man with a camera), a monument to Grandma with seeds, which symbolizes the development of small business in the city, as well as a fabulous fountain, with two bronze geese bathing in it.
