Description:
Rokossovsky Avenue, named after Marshal Rokossovsky, is located in the southeastern part of the capital. Here you can see the buildings of the 70s of the 20th century.
Mostly there are panel nine-storey houses, but in 2011 the authorities decided to expand the avenue and equip it with recreation areas and bicycle paths.
Currently, the main recreation area in this area is the Nadezhda Grekova Park, located at the end of the avenue near the Chizhov Reservoir. In the park you can visit St. Andrew's temple and fairground square, see the statue-fountain and admire the plantation of flowers.
