Description:

The station of the Moscow line "Victory Square" is part of the Minsk metro. It was opened as part of the 1st stage of the Minsk metro on June 26, 1984 and separates the Oktyabrskaya and Yakub Kolas Square stations.

The design is a column and consists of precast reinforced concrete elements with increased height. The passage between two neighboring stations is one of the deepest in Minsk, its depth reaches 25 meters.

The front hall looks solemn. The main element here is the rhythm of columns with capitals, which tend to expand. In the corners of the capitals are lamps made of tinted stamped glass. Each column has 4 lamps, but only three of them burn. According to the architects, it should remind of every 4th inhabitant of Belarus, who died during the Second World War.

Columns and track walls are decorated with white marble, the floor in the lobby is gray and red granite, the lamps of the lobby and the chandeliers of the apron hall are tinted with glass.

Exits lead to the streets of Kiselev, Masherov, Zakharov, Rumyantsev, Frunze, Kozlov, Communist, to Independence and Masherov Avenues and Victory Square.
