Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life

Minsk, st. Calvary, 17

About the company:

The Belarusian State Museum of Folk Architecture and Life was established on the ninth of December 1976.

Near its main building are more than forty exhibits. They are divided into three groups: Poozerye, Central Belarus and the Dnieper. There is a village on which there are narrow streets, and a beautiful Church of the Intercession, the construction of which refers to the eighteenth century. The gilded domes, looking at the very sky, attract more and more parishioners to its walls.

The attention of those who came is presented and several closed courtyards of the last century, and a windmill, which was located in a village called Zelenets in the Khotimsky district of Belarus, and the Transfiguration Church.

In addition, such exhibitions as “Beekeeping of Belarus”, “Belarusian flax”, “Zabrodskie tackle”, “Belarusian vehicles” also work on the site of the museum. The exposition began to collect recently, and therefore very soon other new exhibits can be waiting for all those who came.
