Description:
The station of the Moscow line "Academy of Sciences" is part of the Minsk metro and separates the station "Yakub Kolas Square" and "Cheluskintsev Park". It was opened as part of the 1st stage of the Minsk Metro on June 26, 1984.
The design is a column and consists of precast reinforced concrete elements. The length of the platform is 100 meters, the width is 10 meters. It is lined with polished gray granite, combined with Labradorite. The walls and columns are decorated with white and gray marble with stainless steel profiles. The entire space is filled with the rhythm of the platform columns and enriched with monumental concrete panels, which are located in the zones of descents to the platform site.
Exits lead to Independence Avenue, Surganova Street, the main building of the Academy of Sciences, 1 city clinical hospital and the October cinema.
