Mikhalovo Metro Station

Description:

The Mikhalovo metro station belongs to the Moscow line of the Minsk metro. It is located between the stations "Petrovschyna" and "Grushevka", at the intersection of Gursky Street and Dzerzhinsky Avenue.

The name of the station is associated with the former village of Mikhalovo, so the basis of its interior is the theme of the surrounding nature - a cold sunset using granite, marble and stainless steel.

Construction lasted from 2007 to 2012. Architects V. Dedyula and N. Nikolaevich worked over the station, who planned to make two entrance halls with escalators. Their design was slightly modified, the Mikhalovo was created a meter closer to the ground, and this eliminated the need to install escalators.

Design "Mikhalovo" column three-span, island with one straight platform. On November 7, 2012, the grand opening of the Mikhalovo, Petrovshchyna and Grushevka stations took place.
