Minsk

Moscow Metro Station

Description:

The station of the Moscow line "Moscow" is part of the Minsk metro and separates the station "Park Chelyuskintsev" and "Vostok". It was opened as part of the 1st stage of the Minsk Metro on June 26, 1984.

The design of the column consists of precast reinforced concrete elements. The length of the straight platform is 102 meters, the width is 10 meters. The predominant colors are gold, white and red, which historically characterize the image of Moscow. The columns and walls are decorated with white marble. The end wall is decorated with ornamental marble mosaics, in the center of which there is a clock similar to the chimes of the Moscow Kremlin. The panels with the silhouettes of the main historical Moscow buildings are located on the track walls. The floor is lined with polished dark red granite with a geometric pattern of light gray color.

The exits lead to the faces of Makaenka, Volgogradskaya and to Independence Avenue.

Until December 31, 1986 "Moskovskaya" was the terminus, so in the direction of the station "Vostok" behind it is a dead end.
