Partizanskaya metro station

Description:

The station of the Avtozavodskaya line "Partizanskaya" is part of the Minsk metro and shares the Avtozavodskaya station with the Tractor Plant. It was opened as part of the 3rd section of the Avtozavodskaya line on November 7, 1997.

The architects of the project were O. Vishnevsky, R. Kustov, L. Kustova and V. Telepnev. The design of the column is shallow, has three spans (one hidden span) and a number of rectangular columns. In a place of less depth above the "Partisan" is the shopping center "Underground City".

The architectural and artistic design emphasizes the originality of the design of the platform hall, in the center of which there are a number of columns.

During the construction of the station, many interesting and inexpensive novelties appeared on the materials market. Although many decorative solutions were not destined to be implemented, the new approach was able to slightly reduce construction costs.

The columns are lined with green marble and include decorative profiles of anodized aluminum. The upper part of the columns is decorated with lamps with special optics. They create the effect of a torch, are a symbol of the resistance of the people and carry a memorable fire and gratitude of descendants.

The exits of the two lobbies lead to Partizansky Prospekt, Zhilunovych and Dolgobrodskaya streets, the park named after the 50th anniversary of October, the department store "Belarus" and the hotel "Tourist".
