Pushkinskaya metro station

Description:

The Pushkinskaya Avtozavodskaya line station is part of the Minsk metro and separates the Youth and Sportivnaya stations. It was opened as part of the 2nd section of the Avtozavodskaya line, including 2 stations, on July 2, 1995.

The architects of the project were I. Kamyshan, I. Yesman and E. Kharkova. The design of the station is a column of small laying, has two rows of columns on which the rigs in the form of a semi-ellipse bearing an overlap are based.

The exits are in underground passages and lead to the intersection of Pushkin and Pritytsky streets. Pushkinskaya was the terminus and served as a large transfer hub for those who lived in the western districts of Minsk. Passenger traffic decreased after three stations extended the 2nd line westward in 2005.
