More recently, the function of a sundial on the Mogilev Star Square was performed by an ordinary architectural pin installed on the pavement. But the city decided to give the clock an unusual shape.
The sculpture is unique not only because of its size (it can be seen even from space) and not because it serves as a sundial (around it are located on the chairs of the 12 signs of the Zodiac), but also because it is the only one in the world dedicated to the stargazer.
