City Patriarch of Polotsk

Polotsk is truly considered the oldest city of the Eastern Slavs. Surely.
It is necessary to start the excursion route in Belarus from the very foundation of our statehood - Polotsk. This is a city that has survived all stages of development of Belarus - from its heyday to its decline. Few people know that it was with the capture of Polotsk that our princes decided on a union between the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland, after which a new state was formed.
