Monument to Nicholas the Wonderworker is one of the attractions of the city of Polotsk.
The monument is located near St. Euphrosynievsky Monastery. Previously, a destroyed monastery chapel was located on this site. In 1910, it was at this place that the last stop was made before the delivery of the relics of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra to the monastery.
The author of the monument is Honored Artist of Russia Sergey Isakov. The monument was cast at the Moscow Foundry, one of the best factories in Russia. The monument is made of bronze, its height is 3.5 meters, 1.5 meters - the height of the pedestal.
