Rua do Rosario, s/n, Sao Cristovao, State of Sergipe, Brazil
Description:
The Church of Our Lady Rosario and the Two Pretos is a seventeenth-century temple built by the Jesuits. The appearance is fascinating, and around are cobbled streets, tropical vegetation surrounded by ocean waters. The church itself is a bit unusual as it lacks towers but has a stone toilet dating from 1743. There is also a cave where mass prayers are held. Inside the temple is very beautiful and impresses with its grandeur.
Tours are organized around the temple with a guide who tells about the history of the church and the saints buried on its territory. Everyone can buy souvenirs and various craft products. Visiting this temple, you can plunge into the past and learn as much as possible the history of ancestors. The history of the Catholic Church is particularly well known.
