Description:
San Francisco Square is a square located in one of the oldest cities in Brazil - San Cristovan. This place can be safely called a historical center. The area is very beautiful, well preserved. It was recently added to the World Heritage List. It houses a church and a monastery.
There are also many other beautiful buildings around the square, such as Santa Casa Misericóridia and several more beautiful churches: Nose “Senora Vitoria”, Ordem Terceira Carmo and Nose Senora “Rosario DOS Pretos”. However, despite the relatively small size of the complex, compared to other important cities in Brazil, it is quite charming precisely because it is not crowded with excess buildings and plantations. Being on the square, you can feel yourself in the XVII century.
