Description:
The Santa Lucia Forest is a forest owned by Stiven and Aurea. It is located in a region located 30 minutes south of the city center. It was there that Henry Wickham took the first rubber seeds from Brazil.
The reserve is protected, and excursions here are conducted exclusively with a guide. There is a small museum on its territory. And for lovers of local flora there are many opportunities to study vegetation.
A large number of animals and birds live in the forest, which can be carefully considered during the excursion. At the moment, only group excursions are conducted in the forest. Before visiting this reserve, it is better to go to the website where you can get acquainted with the place and what is happening there. There is also an excellent guide and chronicle of Santarena, the nearest river town.
