Park Mangal das Garkas

Park Mangal das Garkasu opened to the public in January 2005. It lies on the banks of the Guam River and is about 40 hectares of coastal forests with representatives of regional flora and fauna.

The main pride of the park is the birds, of which there are many. Especially picturesque look white herons and scarlet ibis. Special observation decks are arranged to observe them. In addition, there is a special aviary with tropical butterflies, a small museum, a souvenir shop where you can buy plants and various thematic materials, and a small restaurant.
