The symbol of Pomerody is the South Gate. The portal was built to welcome everyone who visits the city.
A distinctive feature of the gate is atypical for Brazil half-timbered construction of the building, which is more common in Germany. A distinctive feature of such an architectural solution are bearing bases made of inclined beams.
The South Gate opened on May 18, 1991.
