Description:

The Temple of Goodwill, or Temple of Peace, the Pyramid of Light Spirits, is recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of Brasilia. Its grand opening took place on November 21, 1989. Over the decades, the temple has been visited by more than 18 million pilgrims and tourists. This is the most visited attraction of the capital of the country. The Temple of Peace, along with the administrative building, is part of the Legion of Good Will complex.

The doors of the temple are open all day long.

The details of the building were carefully thought out and subordinated to the numbers 7 and 1. The building is a seven-sided pyramid, whose height is 21 meters, and the diameter is 28 meters. The building is crowned by a crystal monolith – “sacred crystal”. On the floor in a spiral laid granite slabs of two colors on which visitors walk: counterclockwise – dark road, then clockwise – light path. In the nave of the Temple is the Throne of God - the work of sculptor Roberto Moriconi, symbolizing the 4 elements of nature. Also in the building there is the Hall of Celebrations, the Egyptian Hall, the Memorials of Alziro Zarura and Jose Paiva Netto, an art gallery, a sacred spring and other interesting objects.
