Description:
The building of the National Library in Brasilia (Biblioteca Nacional) is one of the last works of Oscar Niemeyer in the new capital. The building along with the National Museum is included in a single architectural complex. The building of the National Library is located near the famous Cathedral.
The facade of the building is made in simple geometric shapes and is reflected in a round artificial reservoir. On the windows there is a solid protective lattice coating, thanks to which the bright sunlight scatters, and optimal lighting is created inside the room.
