Brasilia TV Tower

Via N Um Oeste, Brasí lia

Description:

The Brasilia TV Tower is the second tallest building in the country. The total height of the building reaches 224 meters, and the observation deck, which offers an interesting view of the capital, is located at an altitude of 76 meters.

The tower was built in 1967 by architect Lushiu Costa. Back then, it was considered the tallest building in Brazil, but the construction of the radio tower-giant in the Rio Grande in 1985 made the TV tower second in the list.

The TV tower is built in the heart of Brasilia, within walking distance of the main hotels of the city. At 76 meters there is the largest observation deck in the city, which can accommodate up to 150 people at the same time. On the site you can admire the sunset or meet the dawn, as well as take excellent panoramic pictures.
