The sandy beach of the Costa Azul is one of the most popular and picturesque in the town of Rio das Ostras. It stretches for more than 2 kilometers in length, and the width varies from 10 to 30 meters.
The promenade, arranged along the coastline, and a specially equipped observation deck allow you to enjoy the splendor of the beach and the ocean in any weather. Many cafes, kiosks with useful little things, as well as equipped children's and just sports grounds make staying on the beach comfortable and especially attractive. There are also several hotel complexes in the immediate vicinity.
Here, as in many other areas of Brazil, surfing is popular. The Costa Azul regularly hosts regional water sports championships.
