Santa Genevieve International Airport is located in the northeastern part of the city of Goiania (8 km from the center), in the state of Goias, Brazil.
The airport opened in 1955 and has been operated by Infraero since 1974.
The airport area is 3 967 365 04 m2, the parameters of the runway are 2500 m long and 45 m wide, so that the airport can serve medium-class aircraft. The capacity of the terminal is 600,000 passengers per year, but in fact it serves a much larger number of people - for example, in 2009, services were used by 1,772,424 people.
