Chapel of Santuario de Gracas Schoenstatt

Built in 1937, the chapel of Santuario de Gracas Schoenstatt in the center of a beautiful garden is an exact replica of the Schoenstatt chapel in Koblenz, Germany.

The chapel is an elegant small building with a beautifully decorated altar, a couple of icons and several benches for visitors - it is almost a European temple in miniature.

In total, there are twenty-two copies of such chapels in Brazil, located in eight states of the country. The chapel in Londrina is the second of the twenty-two.

The chapel was built for the sixtieth anniversary of the city, but the grand opening and the first visits to the general public became possible only two years later - on May 18, 1950. Santuario de Gracas Schoenstatt has been and continues to be the most attractive site for both faithful locals and tourists, as well as for ordinary passers-by.
