Built on the highest point of the region, the Cathedral in the city of Londrina is a bright and eye-catching triangular building made of wood and glass.
The first church on this site was built in 1934. In 1937 a new Neo-Gothic design was developed. In 1938, the construction of the church in a new form began with the laying of the foundation and ended by 1941. The last addition was the installation of a clock tower in 1951.
In 1953, in connection with the need to increase the building of the church, a German engineer was hired, after which the appearance of the building changed several times and only by December 17, 1972 the building was opened, but already as a cathedral. In February 1967, the cathedral was elevated to the category of diocese.
