Square Napoleao Moreira da Silva

Napoleao Moreira da Silva Square, known as Pernambucanas Square, was built in the 50s. It acquired its appearance thanks to the work of the famous architect Jose Augusto Bellucci.

Napoleao Moreira da Silva is one of the most important squares in the history of the city. A large number of attractions are concentrated on it: historical buildings, monuments, busts, which remind of some historical events by their existence.

Now the square is one of the busiest squares of the city. It is often visited by people of all ages - to play card games, sit in the shade of branching trees, listen to birds singing, reflect and just chat with loved ones.
