Description:
This international airport has connections to the main Brazilian airports, as well as to Milan and Buenos Aires. The airport covers an area of 22,000 square meters, so it can receive more than 1 million passengers annually.
The airport opened in 2005 and was attended by Brazilian President Luis da Silva.
The airport has 24 control and pass counters, 7 escalators, 600 parking spaces, 4 bridges for disembarking and boarding passengers. There are also 62 shops, an observation gallery, places of entertainment and recreation.
The runway of the airport reaches a length of 2,600 meters, so it safely accepts non-stop flights from Miami, Rome, London, Cairo.
