Pirangi do Norte beach is located 12 kilometers from the Brazilian city of Natala. It has clear waters, coral reefs and many species of fish.
Near the beach there is a huge garden, in which the walnut tree Kashueiro (cashew), listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest in the world, grows. It is about 110 years old, and a year it gives about 80 thousand fruits. The tree is interesting because its branches grow into the soil and, without letting down roots, grow with the trunk.
Near the garden there are several shops where cashews are sold. There is also a small bazaar nearby where you can buy local souvenirs.
