Porto Seguru Museum

The Porto Seguru Museum invites visitors to discover how Brazil opened. The museum building is located on the hill of the same name.

The museum contains objects and models of buildings that date from different periods: from the XVI to the XVIII century. The museum exposition will tell visitors about the beliefs and lifestyles of the different nationalities that inhabited the Porto Seguro region. Thanks to graphic reproductions, copies of objects, videos and multimedia projections to learn the history of Brazil will become even more interesting and exciting.

The building of the museum consists of seven rooms, in which objects on the themes of rites and beliefs are located. Here you can see maps and learn about the travels of European conquerors and information about the most important events that influenced the history of the region.
