Brazilian Tropical Garden

Rio das Ostras, Brazil

Description:

The tropical garden in Brazil is considered one of the best tropical gardens in the world. There are many species of plants. This place is universal, because here you can not only relax, but also study strange plants, meet with loved ones, come here with children and even take wedding photos.

In the tropical garden, you can stroll through palm groves, visit high bamboo thickets and see monkeys overhead, as well as admire giant orchids.

The garden was founded by King Don Juan VI of Portugal in 1808. Since then, the garden has been an important research center for flora in Brazil. Trees, shrubs and flowers were brought here from different parts of the world.

Many outstanding personalities have visited the garden - such as Albert Einstein, British Queen Elizabeth, Japanese Princess Sayako, who came here specifically for the opening of the Japanese Garden.
