Guinle Park

Rua Gago Coutinho 66, Laranjeiras, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Description:

Guinle Park is one of the most beautiful urban parks in Rio de Janeiro. This green area is located in the south of the city and attracts many tourists and hikers.

The park is named after Eduardo Guinle, a famous Brazilian entrepreneur and philanthropist. Initially, the park was only a private garden at the mansion of a businessman, but gradually the territory of the gardens expanded, and the Guinle Park became separate. Today, its area is almost 25 thousand square meters, and its appearance had a hand in the famous landscape designer Roberto Marx, who turned the park into a real work of art.

Guinle Park is also famous for the fact that it is here that the official residence of the governor of Rio de Janeiro is located. In this regard, the park is extremely well guarded, and the order here is carefully monitored.
