Kidada Park

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Description:

Kidada Park is considered a Brazilian reserve. Several centuries ago, its territory belonged to the noble Mexican Jose Antonio Primenta Bueno. Until now, part of the living room house, built in 1809, is located at the back of the reserve.

The area of Kidada Park is estimated at four hundred and seventy thousand square kilometers. On this territory there is a lake, a small island, and a forest. There are several dozen shops and picnic tables in the park.

There are also several attractions designed for visitors with children. The park became public in 1939 after its last owner, the Guinles family, handed over the property to local authorities. Currently, there is a museum in the living room. There are more than twenty thousand different exhibits. Entrance to the city park is free.
