Pepino Beach

Sao Conrado, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Description:

Pepino Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Rio de Janeiro. It is located on the southern outskirts of the city and is very popular among surf lovers.

Pepino became famous in the eighties of the twentieth century - at that time it was a deserted, uninhabited coast. Today, the beach is a wide strip of pure white sand, stretching for almost a kilometer and a half. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay: sun loungers, sun umbrellas, changing rooms, toilets. Local artists regularly perform on the beach, entertaining holidaymakers.

In addition, the beach is very popular among surfing and hang gliding fans. For the latter, ideal conditions are created here, so the sky above the Pepino beach is always filled with colorful gliders, which looks very beautiful.
