Observation deck at Boa Viagem

Brazil has many viewing platforms, from where you can see beaches, bays, urban buildings, mountains, tropical forests, the greatest architectural monuments and other Brazilian attractions.

One of these observation decks is a platform in the quiet and prestigious area of Boa Viagem in Niteroi. Its main feature is a unique view of the beautiful modernist creation of Oscar Niemeyer, which now houses the Museum of Modern Art. Also from here you can see the picturesque Guanabara Bay and the Church of Our Lady Boa Viagem, which gave the name to the area of the city of Niteroy. Near the church there is a monument in honor of the Portuguese navigator Pedro Cabral Alvarez.
