Brazilian National Historical Museum
About the company:
The Brazilian National Historical Museum is popular all year round among visitors and locals. The gallery is located in the heart of Brazil - in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The museum appeared in the last century – in 1922. President Pesua Epitasio came to the conclusion that the Brazilian people needed to expand their education and it was time to popularize the national culture. To achieve this goal, a national museum was opened.
Today, the museum occupies more than twenty thousand square meters. In its collection there are more than two hundred eighty exhibits. These are books, including those of the fifteenth century, historical documents, and rare photographs. But this is not all that the museum can surprise. There are among the exhibits and household items, sculptures, weapons, jewelry, and even painting. Many subjects are devoted to the history and development of Latin America.
