Dona Eva Museum

Das Mangueiras, 2, Penedo, Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

About the company:

The Dona Eva Museum is a famous museum in Penedo, where immigrants from Finland settled. It was created by Finnish immigrants to perpetuate the memory of their homeland.

The museum has been open to visitors since 1982. Here are collected items related to different areas of Finnish art. These are collections of dolls, magazines and photographs depicting the sights of Finland, national clothing, glass and birch bark products, both ancient and modern.

The museum’s collection is regularly replenished with new items as the number of immigrant Finns grows every year.
