About the company:

The First Reign Museum is a small historical museum in Rio de Janeiro dedicated to the reign of Emperor Pedro I. The museum is housed in an old mansion in the style of neoclassicism and attracts all fans of Brazilian history.

The first reign covers the time span from 1822 to 1831. At this time, the country was ruled by Emperor Pedro I, who proclaimed the independence of Brazil. All museum exhibits belong to this period - these are numerous historical documents, books, antique furniture and various items belonging to the emperor.

The Museum of the First Reign is very small and does not boast an extensive collection, but here you can learn a lot of interesting facts from Brazilian history, as well as usefully spend time surrounded by antiques, enjoying a perfectly recreated atmosphere of the 19th century.
