About the company:
The Rio tram museum offers its visitors more than three hundred exhibits displaying the history of the origin of trams in the city.
There are artifacts from the past, such as balusters, bells, original watches, clothing of service personnel and other items that make up the daily life of the cable car during the past decades. In addition, those interested can find in the archives of the museum a number of books and videos depicting the evolution of tram transport, from the end of the nineteenth century to the present.
Every Saturday, the museum holds special tram tours of the historic sites of Rio.
