Brazil Central Railway Station
Description:
The Central Station of Brazil is an important link between the city bus station and the metro, the station also connects São Paulo and Minas Gerais.
The station is made in the style of Art Deco - as well as many architectural buildings in Rio de Janeiro. In the XX century, a large number of railway companies were formed, and in the same period railway transport began its history - in 1957, railways were nationalized. Brazil had the largest street railway empire owned by a foreign owner.
Currently, there are no plans to expand the railway network in the state, but in 2008, a high-speed train project was created specifically for the championship, which was able to connect Campinas, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.
