Start with the symbol of Rio and all of Brazil. Ascent by train through the Tijuca rainforest to one of the Seven Wonders of the World. From the top opens a panorama of all Rio: the ocean, beaches, mountains and the city as in the palm of your hand.
Day: Historic Center of Rio
We will go on a sightseeing tour of the central part of the city, where Rio was formed.
- Sinelandia Square: Municipal Theatre, National Library and early XX century buildings. Let's go to the local café.
- St. Sebastian Cathedral is a pyramid-shaped cathedral, inside stained glass and interesting acoustics.
- The Selaron Staircase is a famous staircase decorated with tiles from around the world.
- The Arches of Paws is a former aqueduct of Rio's colonial period.
